Skilži

In 2008, we were a couple of engineering students building a car

In 2009, we were a record-breaking and award-winning participant in the Shell Eco-Marathon Europe.

In 2010, we defined a high standard for street vehicles in Sweden with Baldos II and built a prototype car named Skilži.

Today we are developing Skilži to be Swedens most fuel-efficient car!

Tomorrow – well – we don’t know what we’ll be,

but there’s still plenty of fuel left in our tank.

Team Baldos consists of about 15 students from various engineering backgrounds and their supervisors at the Luleå University of Technology in northern Sweden. The Cars that we develop are intended for participation in the Shell Eco-Marathon Europe, an annual contest to drive the longest possible distance on the least amount of fuel.
